The empty reductionism of modern LGBT politics
1/ The allure of classically male or female heterosexual norms is beyond magnetism, it’s positively gravitational like a collapsing star in it’s power. This is the dirty secret of new style modern LGBT politics, it would make girls of little gay boys and vice versa.
2/ It has no human panoply of gender to offer, only stale action men or barbie dolls. It can turn a grown man into a classically sexually available female, but it would never make a Germaine Greer, Camille Paglia or Andrea Dworkin. The production line removes the brain first.
3/ It can’t make Steven Hawkings of its new men or kind boys who can be strong males by lifting up heavy sick people. It has only beards and muscles to attend human personality. It calls itself a spectrum but this is a lie too, it’s a binary of boobs and beards.
4/ In the avowed success of the gay rights movement it has determined to burrow deep and find defeat. It has subterranean sensibilities and scratches around for simple equations of this = man, that = woman, it preaches an end to rules it in truth adores. A dirty secret.
5/ While it scuttles in the deep humans should be vast beautiful fireworks where how they dance, drink, laugh and make love define them, not their pathologies, pronouns, surgeries , difficulties and grudges.
6/ It has taken unchained gays and made them slaves to new imagined problems then invented new ones for them. Always must there be struggle. There can be no peace, the people must always be at war. It has baptised itself in lies. The holy sacrament of deceit is how to know it.
7/ It takes arms against conversion therapy but would see gay youth converted into straight, medicalised teens. It preoccupies itself with designer asexual identities but is silent wham gay boys in Iran are hanged from cranes or beheaded by cousins.
8/ It preaches inclusion but blocks and silences it’s critics. It says it advances gay rights but it has made true every slur the homophobe uttered against us; some boys are not man enough, some girls are not women enough, it has much to much to say about children.
9/ It has no vision for happy gays. There are no stories of quiet couples or exciting alternative lifestyles with fulfilment. There is no campaign for old men with HIV. There is no campaign for widowed lesbians. There is no campaign for gay people on their own.
10/ It has settled upon big strong men and correspondingly deductively attractive women. It has made action men and barbie dolls like a production line. It has reimagined the 1950s along with the McCarthyism of that era. It has provided no insight into what a happy gay life is.
