Welcome to my blog. I write about law, society and LGBT politics (for some reason). I try to do it in an engaging way which dissects the unreality of modern debate.
I’m also the legal commentator at Lesbian and Gay News where I also do occasional comment pieces. I trained as a barrister in 2003 and practiced in criminal law for 15 years before taking on other projects.
My main interest is the restoration of nuanced, accurate and civilised discussion regarding the present moment, particularly the question of how we dismantle the loud engines of unreason powering post-fact societies.
